Nobody would not know, (or everybody knows?) , I LOVE shopping. Some people call me a freak, but I believe I am not.
It might remind you a book "The secret dreamworld of a shopaholic", but my case is totally different from hers, because, for example, she likes buying everything, everywhere, but I like my favorite things at my favorite shops.
(Any difference?)
Anyway, a package from USA arrived at my house yesterday morning. This is from my favorite shop, and I ordered some clothes at their website last week. This brand is very popular for young people, so I might be a little bit overaged for this brand, I am afraid, but I don't care. Japanese people look younger, don't they? Or actually, they are younger.
The problem of online shopping is sizing.
It is impossible to know your correct size just by looking at a size chart a shop shows.
Sometimes, I saw two T-shirts, which supposed to be the same small size, however, one was apparently bigger than the other.
The sizing of american brands is very easygoing, you never trust it and you never know which size fits you unless you actually see it.
That's what happens to me yesterday.
The pants I ordered were too big.
I wanted a exchange, so I called to a customer service but it's closed.
So I wrote an e-mail. I was doing all of them without thinking anything, but it is a big change for me. The English itself I used was very easy, and I could speak and write even before, but now, I am doing them exaclty same way when I am doing them in Japanese. For me, there's no mental hurdle anymore between English and my native language. Making grammatical mistakes are not big things to me. I only care if I can tell what I want to precisely-which is the most important, and sometimes very hard, actually.
The response to my e-mail came soon.
It said-
"Hey ○○○(my name), thanks for considering our return service."
Hey?
Usually they say "Dear Ms. ○○ ", plus, I've seen "Hello" or "Aloha" before, but never been said "HEY".
Am I overaged after all?
Some people already know which brand it is, I believe.
